Airbnb Categories
The pandemic redefined how people travel since remote working became more common. In response to this, Airbnb introduced a new way to discover Airbnb's; by inspiring people to search through type of home versus endlessly scrolling in various places. 5 million homes were categorized into 55 distinct genres from design-forward homes, one-of-a-kind 'OMG!' homes, A-frames, and many more.
The brief for OOH was create clever concepts that may have even nodded to something location-specific (i.e. '0.0 MPH' showing a camper on a street notorious for traffic). The design was clean and alluded to our product interface. The campaign ran in the US and across Europe, I worked on the team in London to bring the campaign to life across London, Manchester, Paris, Marseille, Berlin, Hamburg, Milan, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Sydney and Melbourne.
